Overview

More Gardens! Fund is a community-based organization rooted in arts and education, advocating for the preservation and enhancement of community gardens in New York City and State. We focus on fostering connection, understanding, and joy within communities, with a special emphasis on the voices and experiences of people of color who are often disproportionately impacted by environmental injustices. Our initiatives, such as "Sprouting Justice" in the Lower East Side and "Rise Up!

Green the Bronx" in the South Bronx, seek to empower residents to become active agents of change in their neighborhoods. We envision New York City's public spaces as vibrant ecosystems where art, activism, and environmental consciousness intersect.
