Path Place Architecture is a Brooklyn-based architecture and design studio focused on thoughtful residential, retail, and small-scale commercial work. Led by a female principal architect, the studio’s work is rooted in materiality, craftsmanship, and creating soulful, highly considered spaces — from interior renovations to custom furniture and architectural installations.
We are seeking a full-time Architect / Project Manager to join our small, collaborative team at our Brooklyn Navy Yard studio.
The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, design-sensitive, and experienced managing projects from concept through construction. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys balancing creative collaboration with strong project leadership and technical coordination.
Responsibilities- Manage projects through all phases, from schematic design through construction administration
- Coordinate schedules, budgets, consultants, contractors, and client communication
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Architect and design team on project development
- Review and coordinate drawing sets, specifications, and consultant documentation
- Lead meetings, track project progress, and maintain clear communication across teams
- Support permitting, DOB coordination, and onsite construction administration
- Help refine studio workflows and project management systems
- Professional degree in Architecture or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in an architecture or interior design office
- Experience managing residential and/or interior architecture projects
- Working knowledge of NYC building codes, permitting, and construction administration
Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace
- Ability to work primarily in-person from our Brooklyn Navy Yard studio
- Salary: $82,000–$92,000, commensurate with experience and skill set
