Path Place Architecture is a Brooklyn-based architecture and design studio focused on thoughtful residential, retail, and small-scale commercial work. Led by a female principal architect, the studio’s work is rooted in materiality, craftsmanship, and creating soulful, highly considered spaces — from interior renovations to custom furniture and architectural installations.

We are seeking a full-time Architect / Project Manager to join our small, collaborative team at our Brooklyn Navy Yard studio.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, design-sensitive, and experienced managing projects from concept through construction. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys balancing creative collaboration with strong project leadership and technical coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Manage projects through all phases, from schematic design through construction administration
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, consultants, contractors, and client communication
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal Architect and design team on project development
  • Review and coordinate drawing sets, specifications, and consultant documentation
  • Lead meetings, track project progress, and maintain clear communication across teams
  • Support permitting, DOB coordination, and onsite construction administration
  • Help refine studio workflows and project management systems
Qualifications
  • Professional degree in Architecture or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in an architecture or interior design office
  • Experience managing residential and/or interior architecture projects
  • Working knowledge of NYC building codes, permitting, and construction administration

Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work primarily in-person from our Brooklyn Navy Yard studio
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $82,000–$92,000, commensurate with experience and skill set
  • Health insurance
  • Citi Bike membership
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Opportunity for growth within a small and expanding studio
