New York, NY. Katalyst Health cares & Life Sciences is hiring entry‑level candidates for contract research in clinical trials of drugs, biologics, and medical devices. We have immediate opportunities in Drug Safety, Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Research, collaborating with university hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and recruiting partners.
Job Description: The Clinical Photographer will capture and manage photography assets for a multi‑site, multi‑treatment fat‑reduction study using the Cool Sculpting Elite device. High‑quality before‑and‑after photos are critical. The photographer will take images at baseline and predetermined follow‑up visits, ensuring correct color balance, exposure/zoom correction, cropping to the standardized IPR format, and timely upload to the appropriate location.
- Proficiency with DSLR camera systems
- Ability to set up adequate, controlled lighting in small spaces
- Proficiency with light photo editing and media management
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to handle sensitive materials in a clinical environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances without compromising photo quality
- Travel required, almost exclusively for this position
Top skills:
- Prior clinical study photography experience
- Prior experience photographing the body
- Strong attention to detail
- Formal education or training in clinical photography or medical illustration can be an advantage (preferred)
- Strong communication skills
