Doban Architecture is an award-winning Brooklyn-based architecture firm focused on educational and residential projects, including renovation, restoration, adaptive re-use and new construction.

We are seeking an entry-level graduate architect with up to 2 years experience.

• Play an active role as part of the team on educational renovation and new construction projects, including exterior modernizations and interior projects, with an emphasis on construction administration phase.
• Work closely with Principal and Project Managers.
• Produce drawings and other documents for all design phases, preschematic design through construction documents.
• Assist in preparation of reports, sketches, submittal review, and RFI’s for projects in construction administration.
• Coordinate and communicate with vendors, consultants, and contractors.

• Applicants must have a
  
  B.Arch/M.Arch from an accredited school of architecture; working towards architectural licensure is desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required;
  Revit/Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop) desirable.
• Experience with design documentation, construction drawings, with strong emphasis on detailing; prior experience in all project phases desirable.
• Prior experience on New York City School Construction Authority (NYCSCA) projects or other public projects desirable.
• Prior experience on single or multi-family residential projects desirable.
• Prior experience and knowledge of New York City Department of Buildings filing and zoning highly desirable.
• Self‑motivated, energetic, flexible team player, able to work on multiple projects independently and within a team, and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.
