Interior Designer - REAL ESTATE Investor; Brooklyn, NY

Job Description

We are a fast-growing real estate investment and development company seeking an experienced Interior Designer to help design and manage residential renovation projects throughout Brooklyn and New York City. This is not a decorating position. We are looking for someone who understands renovations, construction, budgets, timelines, and how to create beautiful spaces that maximize resale value and rental appeal. Interior designers on renovation projects typically handle space planning, material and finish selections, coordination with architects and contractors, and oversight during construction.

• Design kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and full-house renovations
• Select materials, fixtures, flooring, tile, paint colors, lighting, and finishes
• Create mood boards, finish schedules, and design packages
• Work closely with architects, contractors, and project managers
• Visit job sites throughout Brooklyn and NYC
• Review shop drawings and material submittals
• Ensure projects remain on budget and on schedule
• Help create modern, marketable designs that maximize property value

• Minimum 3 years of residential interior design experience
• Experience with renovation and construction projects
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, cabinetry, tile, lighting, and fixtures
• Ability to create design presentations and renderings
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to visit project sites in Brooklyn

• Experience working with real estate investors, developers, or house flippers
• Knowledge of NYC construction and renovation processes
• Proficiency in Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, or similar software
