WAU – Watchorn Architecture & Urbanism is a New York-based architecture and urban design practice working across residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Our work is driven by an interest in emerging organizational typologies and new ways of living, working, and engaging with the city.
We are seeking architects/designers with 1–3 years of experience to join our studio and contribute to projects from early conceptual development through construction administration.
As a growing, design-focused practice, team members work directly with the principal across all phases of projects and are given meaningful responsibility early in the design process. We are looking for thoughtful, ambitious designers who are excited to contribute ideas, develop technical skills, and grow within a collaborative studio environment.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior architects and designers on projects from concept design through construction administration.
- Contribute to design development, visualization, drawing production, presentations, and project coordination.
- Produce renderings and visual materials using Rhino, V-Ray, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Develop drawing sets and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
- Assist with client presentations, consultant coordination, and regulatory submissions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in an architecture or design practice.
- Exceptional design, graphic, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and rendering workflows.
- Interest in both conceptual design thinking and technical project development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a small studio environment.
