About STV

This role emphasizes design, production, and delivery, with the ability to develop both professionally and personally.
Key Responsibilities- Work with an architectural/engineering team to prepare documents for new construction and renovation projects.
- Safely navigate active construction sites, including climbing ladders, walking on soft or unpaved surfaces, accessing scaffolding and confined spaces, and maneuvering around obstacles such as ground‑level pipes.
- Use public transportation to reach various job sites.
- Assist with architectural design work from concept design through construction documentation.
- Prepare architectural drawings and utilize strong knowledge of building technology.
- Supervise the execution of design for all phases of a project.
- Execute code analysis, material selections, and coordinate with specifications writer.
- Conduct site and construction inspections for information‑gathering purposes and preparation of design reports.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, manage, and assist lower‑level architects on projects.
- Develop design details, plans, and specifications.
- Contribute new designs or techniques of material significance.
- Perform independent investigations, studies, and architectural analysis.
- Determine collectively with project management the technical approach and design criteria for projects.
- Ensure conformance with standards, established architectural practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction.
- Professional degree in Architecture.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with BIM
360/Revit and Microsoft Office Suite. - AutoCAD, Enscape, Rhino3D, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite experience are a plus.
- Excellent design capabilities and strong verbal and visual communication skills.
- Strong capacity for generating technical details that are constructible.
- Progress toward architectural licensure is very desirable.
