Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience working with an architectural/engineering team in preparing documents for both new construction and renovations and preparing documents for building projects.

Requirement

Candidates must be able to safely and efficiently navigate active construction sites, including climbing ladders, walking on soft or unpaved surfaces, accessing scaffolding and confined spaces, and maneuvering around obstacles such as pipes at ground level. The role also requires the ability to use public transportation to reach various job sites.

Essential Duties Include
  • Develop design details, plans and specifications.
  • Contribute new designs, or techniques which are of material significance in the solution of important problems.
  • Perform independent investigations, studies, and architectural analysis.
  • Determine collectively with project management, the technical approach and design criteria for projects.
  • Ensure conformance with standards, established architectural practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction.
Requirements
  • Professional Degreein Architecture and possess 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with BIM 360 / Revit and Microsoft Office Suite are required.
  • AutoCAD, Enscape, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite experience are a plus.
  • Excellent design capabilities and strong verbal and visual communication skills, along with a strong capacity for generating technical details that are constructible.
  • Progress towards Architectural licensure is very desirable.
