Job Description
We are seeking a hospitality‑focused Senior FF&E Designer with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join our team.
This role centers on high‑end hotel and hospitality projects, requiring deep familiarity with the scale, pace, and coordination demands of that project type. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in high‑end hospitality FF&E and is comfortable working in close collaboration with procurement consultants and specialist vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead FF&E design from concept through installation on hospitality projects, managing timelines and deliverables independently
- Drive sourcing, specification, and documentation of furniture, lighting, textiles, and finishes
- Prepare FF&E presentations, material boards, and specification packages for internal and client review
- Coordinate procurement activities with consultants, including vendor outreach
- Develop custom furniture drawings and oversee fabrication with vendors
- Styling of completed projects
- Manage FF&E schedules, control books, and project documentation in internal tracking systems
- Maintain and organize the materials library, vendor records, and project files
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 8+ years of demonstrated FF&E experience on high‑end hospitality projects (academic or internship experience will not be considered).
- Based in New York City and available to work in the office full‑time
- Proven ability to independently manage and prioritize deliverables across multiple active projects simultaneously
- Comprehensive hands‑on knowledge of FF&E design standards, sourcing, and specification
- Experience coordinating procurement activities with consultants, including vendor outreach, order tracking, and delivery management
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Revit required; familiarity with Design Spec and Rhino a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Experience working collaboratively within design teams
