Technical Designer - Outerwear & Apparel

Bernardo Fashions, a leader in outerwear for over 45 years, is looking for a skilled Technical Designer to support our development and production across Outerwear and Sportswear.

• Report to Technical Design Manager
• Collaborate with the Design, Sales, and Production team from the product development to Production.
• Track / receive / organize fit samples and prepare for fitting
• Participate in fitting (proto through production). Upload fit pictures and take all fit comments on Tech pack
• Communicate with China office resolving any questions arising from technical specs to construction
• Prep & send fit samples to Private Label buyers. Follow up with their tech designers on comments, then communicate to China office.

• Associate Degree with on the job experience
• 3 Years Min. experience
• Knowledge of sportswear & outerwear construction/spec
• Understand paper patterns and construction details
• Knowledge of both knit and woven garment
• Self‑motivated and self‑directed with continuous desire to learn and grow
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment, detail‑oriented, and organized.
• Excellent communication, organizational skill, attention to detail and follow‑up skills
