Architectural Designer

A renowned international architecture practice is seeking an Architectural Designer to join its New York team. With an impressive portfolio spanning a variety of sectors and global markets, the studio is involved in the delivery of some of the world’s most ambitious and technically sophisticated projects.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced project leaders and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to projects from early-stage design through detailed documentation and delivery. You’ll play an active role in developing design solutions, producing project documentation, and supporting coordination efforts across complex project environments.

• Contribute to the project vision, design and development of complex architectural projects, supporting project teams from early-stage concepts through detailed documentation and delivery
• Create and communicate design solutions through drawings, 3D models, visualizations, presentations, and other project materials for internal and client review
• Support project delivery through site planning, code research, regulatory analysis, and the development of technical architectural solutions, including façade and building envelope systems
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated project execution and alignment across all disciplines
• Assist with construction documentation, BIM modeling, and construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and site observations

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• 2–7 years of professional architectural experience, ideally working on large-scale or technically complex projects
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, construction methodologies, and project delivery processes
• Experience with zoning analysis, building codes, site planning, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Understanding of zoning analysis, planning regulations, regulatory compliance requirements and building codes
• Comfortable working across a range of programs, including Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, D5, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
