Packaging Designer

• Design creative and functional packaging solutions for all baby apparel, accessory, and sleepwear products.
• Digital and physical packaging and trim submissions to the license and/or customer for approvals.
• Ensure packaging and trim for each program reflect the design direction and brand’s identity.
• Prepare production-ready assets, including technical files, dyelines, and artwork for manufacturing.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that packaging and trims are produced to specification.
• Ensure packaging and trims meet both aesthetic and functional standards before mass production.
• Create and maintain apparel packaging and trim production guides with the required and most up-to-date item details.
• Effectively communicate product statements and features through package design.
• Design private-label branding packaging – hangtags and header cards.

• 3+years’ experience with a background in packaging design with a strong understanding of brand/graphic design
• Expert understanding of all aspects of packaging components, including packaging structure, dieline creation, preparing files for printer/vendor
• Expert use of Adobe Illustrator
• Experience with 3D programs is a plus
• Strong portfolio of design work showcasing ability to conceptualize, design and execute current packaging
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
