Senior Interior Designer – Manhattan

$95,000 - $145,000 per year | New York, NY | On‑site | Permanent

We are a competitive architecture and engineering firm seeking a Senior Interior Designer who specializes in finishes for large institutional projects. The role involves designing interiors from concept to completion for a range of projects, including residential buildings and large commercial structures.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and developing architectural designs and concepts for a variety of projects.
  • Utilizing Revit and VR rendering to produce high‑quality, detailed architectural designs.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and expectations.
  • Coordinating with engineers and construction teams to ensure design integrity and project success.
  • Overseeing the design process from initial concept to final completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Presenting designs and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Staying updated with the latest architectural trends, technology, and regulations, and incorporating them into designs as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience as an Architectural Designer in an engineering or architectural firm—specifically with interiors.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Exceptional design and drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles and technology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex design concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • A portfolio of previous work that demonstrates design skills and creativity.
