Certified is a Midtown Manhattan graphics and signage company with over 20 years of experience. We are looking for a full-time Signage Production Designer / Project Coordinator to help prepare signage drawings, coordinate production details, and support projects from approval through installation.
This is an in-person role for someone with signage experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both design files and project schedules.
Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 per year, based on signage experience
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person, Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY 10019
Responsibilities- Prepare signage artwork, production files, and technical drawings.
- Assist with ADA, interior, exterior, and architectural signage projects.
- Review project details, measurements, materials, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with production staff, vendors, installers, and clients.
- Help track project timelines, approvals, revisions, and installation schedules.
- Review proofs and production files for accuracy.
- Communicate updates and help keep projects moving on schedule.
- Support the team with revisions, project follow-up, and production coordination.
- Experience in the signage, graphics, print production, or architectural signage industry.
- Strong skills with Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to prepare accurate design files and technical drawings.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active projects.
- Good communication skills with clients, vendors, and internal team members.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work full-time in person in Midtown Manhattan.
- 3+ years of signage industry experience.
- Experience creating shop drawings.
- Knowledge of ADA and exterior signage.
- Knowledge of signage fabrication and installation.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
