Key Responsibilities- Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs.
- Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, designing, and coordinating of small projects.
- Independently applies architectural concepts and designs.
- Writes draft copies of reports and specifications.
- Carries out assignments that require developing new or improved techniques and procedures.
- Collaborates with Project Leads and Architects to enable them to establish and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Participates in the design process, guiding teams in developing innovative architectural concepts that align with project objectives and client aspirations.
- Collaborates with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to define design criteria, project scope, and budget considerations.
- Oversees the creation of comprehensive design packages, including detailed drawings, 3D visualizations, and presentations, using industry‑standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketch Up).
- Applies understanding of materials, finishes, construction techniques, and building systems to ensure design feasibility, constructability, and sustainability.
- Facilitates design charrettes, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews to encourage a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Mentors and guides junior designers, providing constructive feedback, sharing knowledge, and fostering their professional growth.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to integrate MEP, structural, and other engineering considerations into the design process.
- Ensures adherence to codes, regulations, and industry standards while championing design excellence.
- Participates in client presentations and engages in effective communication to address design inquiries and modifications.
- Stays informed of emerging architectural trends, technological advancements, and industry best practices.
- Contributes to business development efforts through client meetings, proposal preparation, and presentations.
