What You Will Do

  • Collaborate on projects to hone skills in programming, space planning, conceptual, schematic, and design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Brainstorm interior architecture approaches to meet client needs.
  • Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting.
  • Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction.
  • Collaborate within the team structure to deliver the best work for clients.
  • Partner with product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators to develop knowledge of finishes and furniture.
  • Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
  • Participate in construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples.
  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited school.
  • 3-5 years of interior design experience (excluding internships or co‑ops).
  • Outstanding graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas. Portfolio should include well‑organized examples of design work during school and relevant finish palettes, test fittings, visualizations, and design documentation completed during internships or previous positions.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch Up, and Revit highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices.

Compensation
:
The base salary will be estimated between $70,000 and $80,000 annually, plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience.
