COCO Brands is seeking an experienced Technical Designer – Apparel to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail oriented technical designer with strong experience in sleepwear, intimates, underwear, or apparel construction, who can confidently manage multiple categories and workloads independently.

The ideal candidate is a self starter who thrives in a fast paced environment, can seamlessly task switch and multitask, and understands how to prioritize deadlines based on business needs. This individual must be comfortable owning their workload, communicating proactively, and partnering cross functionally to ensure product execution is accurate from development through production.

Experience in licensed apparel, sleepwear, intimates product development is strongly preferred.

• Create and maintain accurate tech packs, graded specs, construction details, and measurement charts across multiple apparel categories.
• Evaluate and review fit samples, pre production samples, and TOP samples, providing clear and detailed comments to overseas factories.
• Collaborate closely with design, production, merchandising, and sales teams to ensure products meet fit, quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
• Manage multiple categories and programs simultaneously, including licensed, private label, and branded product.
• Own and manage workload independently, ensuring projects are prioritized and deadlines are met without constant oversight.
• Demonstrate strong task switching and multitasking abilities, balancing urgent priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Identify fit, construction, and quality issues proactively and provide solutions to improve product execution.
• Review and approve measurements, grading, garment construction, trims, fabrications, and fit consistency.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with overseas factories and vendors, ensuring technical details are understood and executed correctly.
• Maintain organization across multiple timelines, approvals, and development stages in a fast moving environment.
• Partner with design teams to ensure aesthetic intent is maintained while achieving proper fit and manufacturability.
• Ensure products meet customer requirements, licensor standards, and internal quality expectations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Product Development, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of technical design experience, preferably within sleepwear, intimates, underwear, loungewear, or apparel.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, pattern making, and apparel manufacturing.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed tech packs and fit comments.
• Strong understanding of measurement standards and fit consistency across categories.
• Experience working with licensed apparel and private label product development preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage workload independently and prioritize effectively.
• Proven ability to multitask, task switch, and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment.
