As an Experience Design Technologist, Senior Associate in the Card Platforms Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products and services by leveraging your advanced knowledge of experience design principles. You will serve as the bridge between high‑level experience concepts and production‑ready user interfaces, translating design intent into code‑ready logic, design tokens, and component architecture. You don't just hand off static frames—you help define how the application behaves in real‑world conditions across states, data scenarios, and interactions, ensuring the user experience is preserved from concept through implementation.

• Design and develop elegant solutions to specific interaction problems and ensure consistency across multiple products and platforms while adhering to industry best practices
• Apply advanced knowledge of information architecture and storyboarding to create user‑centric designs that enhance navigation, findability, and overall user satisfaction
• Conduct data‑driven analyses to inform design decisions and use data to transform raw information into valuable insights to inform decision‑making
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines to ensure our products and services cater to a diverse range of users
• Operate with an iterative design mindset and incorporate user feedback and insights to continuously improve the overall user experience of our offerings
• Assist in the analysis of market trends, user research studies, and user behaviour analyses to inform design decisions and contribute to the team's strategic thinking
• Build and refine complex UI components with a strong understanding of component references; define and document component props, states, variants, and technical constraints to support scalable implementation.
• Define component and interface behaviour beyond visual design, including responses to data changes, error states, edge cases, and user interactions; partner with engineering to ensure interaction logic is implementable and consistent.
• Use AI‑assisted development tooling (e.g., VS Studio, Co‑Pilot, Claude Code) to create live‑code prototypes that serve as a source of truth for engineering (real‑time data handling, UI state transitions, complex interaction patterns).
• Review production builds to validate alignment with intended UI architecture and interaction design; act as a quality gate for the functional craft of the product experience (behaviour, responsiveness, component correctness, usability fidelity).

• 3+ years in a user experience design or equivalent role dedicated to improving experiences with digital products and services
• Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry‑standard tools (e.g., Figma, Co‑Pilot, or Adobe Creative Suite)
• Demonstrated experience in designing and optimising user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels
• Previous experience interpreting complex data and transforming it into actionable insights for informed decision‑making
• Proficient understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with a history of creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences
• Experience working in both a code editor and design tools, translating between disciplines.
