Our CAD team creates requests made by the Designers to show our new lines. Designers share flat sketches and CAD draws the new styles and/or recolors existing styles in desired colorways, finalizing the presentation as needed.
Role ResponsibilitiesThis person’s primary responsibility is to help keep the internal database (File Maker) up-to-date with CAD images for all SKUs in all categories.
- Locate CADs in the design server according to style numbers and upload and arrange them in File Maker
- Update CADs with appropriate information for catalog and showroom binders
- Fulfill CAD requests via File Maker and email for JPEG images to supplement the sales team database (called OA)
- Create and email presentation sheets to factories
- Assist in recoloring and rendering CADs in Photoshop
- Occasionally assist CAD Artists in creating flat sketches
- Basic experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is required
- File Maker experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Ability to take initiative and work independently; capable of executing tasks without constant supervision
- Ability to maintain discretion & confidentiality
