We are seeking a talented and highly committed architectural designer with the experience and ability to effectively manage and lead the Construction Documentation (CD) and Construction Administration (CA) phases. This position offers an opportunity to work within a research-driven and design-centered studio environment where you will have direct involvement in shaping projects from initial concept development through realization, with meaningful responsibility for driving projects forward and contributing to built design outcomes.
This role requires strong design abilities and exceptional organizational, coordination, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduation, hands‑on experience in CD and CA phases of design-oriented projects, and ability to independently and collaboratively coordinate and execute the documentation and administration.
- NYC-based (This is an in‑person position)
- An M.Arch or
B. Arch degree / Authorization to work in the U.S. - Advanced proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe CC Suite, and rendering software.
- Interest and capacity for concept/ research-driven design processes and development
- Experience in /exposure to adaptive reuse projects
- Experiences in spaces for art, and public, cultural, and institutional projects
- Working knowledge of NYC building codes
- Interest/capacity for research and design in other scales, types, and media explored at N H D M
