Larson Architecture Works PLLC is a boutique architecture firm in midtown Manhattan with a varied practice in high quality residential, commercial, retail, and civic projects. Led by Principal Doug Larson, the firm has a strong foundation in contextual design and the work spans historicism to modernism. We seek to solve problems in creative, thoughtful and effective ways for our clients.
We are continuing to build a team and welcome applications from architects and designers who will work seamlessly with clients and fellow co-workers to realize projects with the highest standards.
There is an immediate need for full-time design or architectural drafting professionals with 2 to 5 years’ experience.
These positions require competence in all conventional aspects of architecture. With the direction of a Project Manager or Job Captain, a Junior Designer can perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural drafting for projects of moderate size and complexity.
A Junior Designer will also:
Complete analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts.
Be able to generate presentation drawings.
Assist in assembling and drafting a full set of working drawings.
Multitask on multiple projects.
Salary for this position is $50K to $75K per year.
Qualifications:
Degree in Architecture (BArch, March, or Architectural Technology).
Strong AutoCAD skills is a must.
Photoshop or other rendering capabilities a plus.
Strong visual and verbal communication skills.
Ability to confidently work with team and managers on multiple projects.
Registration not essential, but a plus.
Permanent legal US work status.
