Overview
We are looking for several candidates to help build our Apparel Product Development team. Experience in technical design, apparel product development, fabric development and design are important and relevant roles that would make you a great candidate. This role supports the development and execution of seasonal collections for our active Women’s, Men’s and Kids apparel categories from concept through production readiness while maintaining the brand’s standards for quality, fit, and consistency.
Must have a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to help execute urgent projects. The Product Developer is a crucial role that guides the creation of apparel in various categories (Adults, Kids in Activewear, Sleepwear, Socks etc.). - Oversee the complete apparel product development lifecycle in various apparel categories.
- Help translate design concepts into clear development requirements for Tech Packs ultimately passed to our vendors.
- Work closely with design teams to fine-tune product details, ensuring quality, fit, and functionality meet brand standards.
- Experience supporting development across multiple apparel categories.
- Help translate design concepts into clear development with our Tech Packs for our overseas vendors.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, technical and production) to streamline processes and ensure smooth project flow.
- Monitor and adjust project timelines as needed to stay aligned with product development goals.
- Communicate with overseas vendors to track sample status, timelines, and development updates.
- Ensure vendors are meeting sampling timelines and development expectations.
- Collaborate with Technical Design to help maintain product intent through the development process.
- Assist in evaluating construction and recommend improvements where appropriate.
- Proficiency in PLM is not required but is a plus.
- Complete understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Kids and Plus product development experience is a plus.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in either Apparel Product development, Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related apparel field.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Fashion Design, Production, or a related apparel field.
- Strong understanding of the fashion design and production process from concept to final product into production.
- Experience with CAD software, design tools, Google Sheets, PowerPoint and Excel are a must.
- Create and maintain Tech Packs.
- Must have extensive knowledge of fabrics, garment construction and the ability to measure garments.
- Ability to analyze workload and plan accordingly.
- Must be deadline driven and detail oriented.
- Must be able to multitask and work in fast paced environment.
- Must have excellent communication and follow through skills.
- Must work well in a team environment.

- Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. $80,000 - $90,000
