Design Intern

2x4 is seeking an intern to join our Environments team, which works at the intersection of graphic design, architecture, and experience design. The intern will support the team in developing ideas, preparing design materials, and contributing to ongoing studio projects.

This is a 12-week, paid, full-time internship, working in-person at our studio in New York City. Applicants should be in the New York area for the duration of the internship.

Job responsibilities include:

• Assist project teams in researching, developing, and preparing design concepts
• Support designers in the creation of presentations, layouts, and visual materials
• Contribute to the development of graphic design or architecture elements across projects
• Help prepare files, mockups, and production-ready materials
• Participate in internal reviews and studio discussions
• Assist with general project organization and documentation

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s degree program in graphic design, or a related field
