Architectural Designer

Architecture Work Office is a New York City architecture firm with a diverse portfolio spanning private and public work, new construction and renovation. We're a small, close-knit studio where your work has visible impact and your judgment is trusted.

We're looking for a designer who moves fluidly between the creative and the technical — someone who can develop a thoughtful design concept and then carry it through to a complete, coordinated set of construction documents.

• Develop design concepts through schematic, design development, and construction document phases
• Produce clear, coordinated, and complete construction documents
• Coordinate with consultants (MEP, structural) and support code and zoning analysis
• Contribute to a wide range of projects across sectors and project types

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
• 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Strong command of Revit and Rhino — you should be very comfortable in both
• Genuine design sensibility paired with real construction-document competence
• Clear, direct communication
• Full commitment and a strong sense of ownership over the completeness and quality of your own work

• Experience with Bluebeam Revu and AutoCAD
• Progress toward architectural licensure, or an already-licensed RA

Compensation: $66,000 – $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
