Project Architect

StudioSC is an award-winning architecture firm located in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Our studio is very design focused with an emphasis on residential and mixed use development work with ground up and adaptive re-use projects.

Please note we are only considering candidates if the minimum required qualifications are met. The available position is full-time with salary and benefits commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications. Candidates must have advanced knowledge of NYC zoning and code, DOB filing drawings and have a good level of construction knowledge required by a project architect. Self-motivation is a must as we’re looking for someone committed to learning and adding their unique perspective to our culturally diverse office.

The minimum requirements for candidates are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture
• 7-14 years of experience in a NYC professional architecture office
• Creative design skills and ability to translate design into drawings
• A good communicator who can manage workflow and time well
• Understanding how a project works within New York City
• Strong computer skills listed below:
• Fluency in Revit; minimum 6 years working with program in a professional office
• Good working knowledge of Sketchup is an advantage
