As our portfolio of licensed collectibles and toys continues to expand, we’re seeking a Packaging Designer to support the execution and production of licensed packaging across our growing collectibles and toy portfolio. This role is production-focused and requires a strong understanding of packaging structure, licensor compliance, and factory-ready file preparation.
The ideal candidate has a couple years of hands‑on experience building technical packaging files, working within brand guideline systems, and managing assets with precision and consistency.
Responsibilities Include:- Building detailed, production‑ready tech packs for packaging and related components
- Working directly within factory die‑lines to prepare accurate print‑ready files
- Managing and organizing licensor‑provided assets, ensuring proper usage, placement, and compliance
- Interpreting and adhering to licensor brand guidelines and approval requirements
- Executing packaging layouts for boxes, inserts, labels, instruction sheets, and supporting materials
- Partnering with licensing, production, and product development teams to ensure packaging meets brand, cost, and manufacturing requirements
- Managing multiple SKUs and timelines simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Several years of professional packaging experience
, preferably in toys, collectibles, or licensed consumer products - Strong experience building technical packaging files and comprehensive tech packs
- Proven experience working with licensed brands and asset libraries
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (InDesign is a plus)
- Portfolio demonstrating packaging design, structural thinking, and creative problem‑solving
- Strong understanding of print production, color accuracy, bleeds, safety margins, and file organization
- Highly detail‑oriented with the ability to catch inconsistencies before submission
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
