Project Manager | MEP BIM Coordination & Revit Drafting

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to oversee MEP drafting and BIM coordination projects from kickoff through final delivery.

Please note:

This is a direct local hire role and not part of our standard BPO/offshore staffing model. The selected candidate will work directly with the client at their Brooklyn office.

This is a client-facing project management role for someone who understands MEP construction, Revit workflows, BIM coordination, and construction documentation. The role is not primarily a drafting position, but the candidate must be able to review drawings, understand Revit models, identify coordination issues, and manage production teams effectively.

The Project Manager will coordinate between clients, General Contractors, engineers, architects, BIM coordinators, and drafting teams to keep projects organized, accurate, and on schedule.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, General Contractors, engineers, architects, and internal drafting teams
• Review project drawings, specifications, scopes, BIM models, and construction documents before production begins
• Estimate drafting hours, staffing needs, and project timelines
• Assign work to drafting teams based on priorities, deadlines, and team capacity
• Manage multiple active MEP drafting and BIM coordination projects at the same time
• Track project progress, milestones, RFIs, revisions, deadlines, and client updates
• Review completed work for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project requirements before submission
• Coordinate drafting workflows for plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and electrical systems
• Identify missing information, coordination conflicts, and constructability concerns early in the process
• Work with BIM coordinators to address clashes, model issues, and coordination conflicts
• Ensure drafting standards, annotation standards, and quality control procedures are followed
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding schedules, revisions, open items, and project status
• Maintain organized project documentation, logs, and internal communication
• Keep drafting teams accountable while helping remove roadblocks that may delay production

• Experience in MEP construction, BIM coordination, Revit drafting, project management, or a closely related field
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction documents, shop drawings, and coordination workflows
• Hands‑on experience with Autodesk Revit is required
• Experience with Navisworks for coordination and clash detection is highly preferred
• Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical drawings
• Experience estimating drafting hours and managing production schedules
• Strong client communication and follow‑up skills
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple fast‑moving projects at once
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues before they become delays
• Fluent spoken and written English

• The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of both construction and drafting production. They can communicate professionally with clients while managing internal teams, tracking project details, and keeping work moving.
• They should be proactive, organized, technically sharp, and comfortable identifying coordination issues, missing information, and project risks before they impact delivery.
• Experience managing overseas drafting teams is highly preferred.
