Location: New York
Our client, an apparel and accessories wholesale company, is seeking a Designer for their hard home goods division, specifically working on candles.
This role requires 4 days onsite in NYC.
Responsibilities- Create innovative product concepts that align with brand strategy, consumer insights, and market opportunities
- Develop mood boards, color stories, and seasonal design direction
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify new opportunities, category expansion ideas, and emerging consumer trends
- Produce CADs, renderings, and product specifications for manufacturing
- Prepare tech packs
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, cost, and manufacturability standards
- Review samples and provide feedback throughout the development process
- Develop production-ready artwork and packaging specifications
- Research trends to inform future product strategies
- Conduct competitive and market analysis
- At least 4-6+ years of experience designing hard home goods
- Strong organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
