Abel Bainnson Butz, LLP (ABB) is a growing landscape architecture practice with a long legacy of shaping New York City’s public realm. We are seeking passionate landscape architects and designers who want to be part of a collaborative, growing team carrying this legacy into the future.

We are currently looking for highly-qualified, creative Landscape Architects who are detail-oriented critical thinkers and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment to work on a wide range of projects. Candidates with previous experience on public NYC projects, especially projects for NYC SCA, are highly desirable.
Successful Landscape Architects (3-10 yrs experience) candidates will possess the following:
- Strong competencies in grading design, planting design and construction detailing
- Superior design abilities including detailed design development
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS, Sketch-Up and/or Rhino (Lumion a plus)
- Cost estimating experience
- Construction admin experience
- Demonstrated success as a project manager
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- NY Registration or on the path to registration.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture
