SENIOR DESIGNER – Young Men’s & Boys - Licensing

One of North America’s leading apparel companies is growing and looking for a motivated Senior Designer to contribute to our creative atmosphere. We are a fast-paced company specializing in branded and private label programs. We have an immediate opening for a talented designer who specializes in Licensed/Branded CAD design, tech pack creation, seeing samples from Proto to TOP, and upholding licensor approvals.

• Researching the market for key items and trends.
• Initiating original concepts that drive sales forward.
• Designing compelling silhouette sketches and seasonal concept trends.
• Developing colors, fabrications, all over prints, and trim packaging.
• Executing detailed tech packs for product development and production.
• Interface with technical designer on new design development and fittings.
• Partner with production team on approvals to maintain on‑time deliveries.
• Accountable for adhering to design development T & A calendar and production deadlines.
• Sending concepts to licensors and following up on status (methods vary by licensor).
• Managing assistant designer in all licensor communications regarding approval uploads, art, style guides, processes, do's and don'ts.
• Organize and participate in creative rollout calls/meetings with licensors (main contact).
• Managing all licensor forecasts (monthly or quarterly, depending on licensor).
• Assisting the Accountant with royalty reporting, verifying all SKUs quarterly.

• Strong CAD skills
  - Proficient in Adobe Suite on a Mac platform.
• Detailed and conscious of deadlines.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• 8+ years of relative design experience working in the Young Men’s & Boys market.
