Associate for Web Development | Manhattan Strategies | New York, NY | $55,000 to $75,000 per year | Full-Time | On Site

Manhattan Strategies is seeking an Associate for Web Development to bring clients' stories to life. This role includes website design, website development, and back‑end management. You will assist on multiple projects at one time while working with a fast‑paced team of designers, communicators, and account leads. Your ability to collaborate on projects and apply a unique perspective results in a consistent and unparalleled quality outcome.

• Assist in web development across a range of industries by building website layout and user interface through responsive HTML/CSS practices, while maintaining clean code and ensuring programs run properly
• Utilize Webflow and other popular content management systems to develop and maintain websites for our clients
• Collaborate closely with designers and developers to implement UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional web elements
• Implement responsive designs across various devices and screen sizes
• Collect and review specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Set up analytics tools to capture relevant data points accurately across websites
• Conduct testing on the website to identify and resolve any bugs, accessibility issues, or performance bottlenecks
• Work simultaneously on multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines on U.S. East Coast and West Coast

• Excellent knowledge of modern responsive in JavaScript, CSS, HTML. Experience with JQuery/Vanilla JS a plus
• 1‑2 years of using one or more content management systems (Word Press, Webflow, etc.)
• Strong understanding of technical SEO best practices and site speed optimization
• Hands‑on experience with web analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Search Console, Bing Webmaster, and Hotjar
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment, and is adaptable to changing priorities
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, web development, or related discipline/bootcamp and equivalent experience

• Base salary range is $55,000 to $75,000 per year plus bonus eligibility
