Architect​/Designer

Bureau V Architecture is a queer-led studio based in NYC that works primarily in arts and culture. Our projects include theaters, performance spaces, exhibition spaces, installations, cultural institutions, and mixed‑use residential work. We are a small team, which means everyone works close to the design and close to our clients.

We are looking for an architect/designer with 3–5 years of experience to join us full‑time. This is a hybrid role based in New York.

• Contribute to design across all phases, from concept through construction
• Develop and produce construction documents
• Communicate directly with clients and consultants
• Help coordinate projects and keep them moving
• Research products and materials and support specifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in architecture
• Strong design sensibility and clear communication
• Comfort with BIM — we use ArchiCAD and will train you if you're new to it
• 3D modeling in Rhino and/or Blender
• Interest in cultural and performance work

• Full‑time, hybrid, New York City
• Salary range: $75,000–$90,000, commensurate with experience
