A Brooklyn-based architecture studio is seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Architect to join our team full-time. This is an in-person role for an architect who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about thoughtful design, efficient execution, and multifamily housing in New York City.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate on all project phases, from schematic design to construction administration
- Assist with zoning and code analysis, particularly NYC Building Code and Zoning Resolution
- Develop design presentations, 3D models, and visualizations using Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Produce detailed construction documents and coordinate DOB filing sets
- Work with consultants, engineers, and project team members to ensure technical and regulatory compliance
- Participate in internal design reviews and contribute creative problem- solving throughout the project lifecycle
- Support senior staff in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and documentation requirements
- Conduct site visits and construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in multifamily new construction in NYC
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino
- Competence in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling, and rendering tools
- Experience preparing DOB filing sets and construction documents
- Knowledge of NYC Building Code and zoning (preferred)
- Strong design sensibility and ability to contribute to early planning and concept phases
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; highly organized and self- motivated
- Experience with NYC zoning analysis or urban planning
- Familiarity with HPD projects or affordable housing programs
