Senior Spatial Designer

As a Senior Spatial Designer on the experience design team, you will be responsible for creating physical manifestations of brand narratives across retail, activations, events, packaging and digital. In this senior level role you will have the skills to take a brief and develop high quality creative quickly and intuitively for internal and client facing reviews.

You are a conceptual collaborator who will work with Strategists to define and develop the idea into a tangible direction through iterative visual communication and 3D renderings. You will work with the creative director to establish design solutions, and can be trusted to run with the design development of quick-turn 3D projects along with junior designers. Through collaboration with the production team you will help bring the vision to life through production drawings and art files, with a design approach that integrates an understanding of physical materials and construction methods.

You are tapped into both historical movements and current trends across art, architecture and culture, using spatial knowledge and visualization to provide innovative and unexpected outcomes, while functionally solving the client’s problems from the brief.

• Strong 3D modeling and rendering software skills
• Strong conceptual ideation, drawing/sketching, graphic layout skills
• Ability to receive a brief and run with it to independently create a vision and build a deck to communicate the intent both visually and verbally
• Detailed understanding of physical materials and construction methods through an architectural / industrial design lens
• A drive to pursue innovative, original creative concepts to the highest standards
• Iterate and communicate design concepts clearly and on time
• An ability to both collaborate and to run with an idea and deliver results unsupervised
• Ability to balance space and budget constraints with innovative ideas

• A degree or background in design, architecture, industrial design
• 5+ years of relevant agency experience
• A proven portfolio of consumer driven work in retail, fashion, architecture
• Fluent across the Adobe Suite
• Highly skilled in 3D modeling using Sketch Up (Cinema 4D a bonus)
• Highly skilled in 3D rendering using Keyshot (Red Shift a bonus)
