Role Overview
Zoë Feldman Design is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager to join our New York design team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, technically proficient project leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end residential environment and has extensive experience managing complex residential renovation projects from pre-construction through final installation.
The Senior Design Project Manager serves as the logistical, technical, and construction lead for assigned projects, including sophisticated residences with multi-million-dollar construction and furnishing budgets
. Working closely with clients, designers, architects, contractors, consultants, vendors, and the firm's procurement team, this individual is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, within budget, and at the highest level of quality while providing an organized and exceptional client experience.
This is a full-time position based in New York City, with Remote Fridays available following the successful completion of the introductory period. Occasional travel to project locations and Zoë Feldman Design's Washington, D.C. headquarters is required.

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Seven or more years of experience in interior design, architecture, construction administration, or design project management, preferably within high-end residential projects
- Demonstrated success managing complex residential renovations with multi-million-dollar budgets from pre-construction through installation
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD required
- Studio Designer experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, RFIs, bids, change orders, consultant coordination, and construction administration
- Advanced experience developing, managing, forecasting, and reporting on multi-million-dollar project budgets

- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

- Experience managing residential renovation projects in New York City strongly preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel for site visits, installations, and occasional visits to the Washington, D.C. headquarters
