CAD Jewelry Designer for High‑End Jewelry.

New York 10036. Company: YT Quality – Manufacturer of Custom Made and High‑End Jewelry.
We’re looking for a talented CAD Jewelry Designer to create precise 3D models of rings, earrings, necklaces, and custom pieces using industry‑standard software such as Rhino 3D + Grasshopper or similar.
Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed CAD models from sketches, references, or client briefs
- Prepare files for 3D printing, casting, and CNC production
- Revise designs based on feedback and technical requirements of clients
- Ensure designs are manufacturable, beautiful, and within material/weight targets
- Work closely with jewelers, gemologists, and the production team
- 2+ years professional experience in jewelry CAD design
- Worked with CAD of high‑end jewelry retailers is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Rhino; portfolio showcasing fine jewelry designs (especially rings & custom pieces)
- Understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes (lost‑wax casting, stone setting, etc.)
- Eye for detail, creativity, and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of other CAD software is a plus
