Leading Intimate Apparel seeking an Intimate Apparel Assistant Technical Designer
Role Description/ Summary of job
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Intimate Apparel Assistant Technical Designer located in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
- Responsible for supporting Technical fit team in developing accurate tech packs for Intimate Apparel include bras, panties, shapewear and related categories.
- Measure samples, send fitting invites, assisting with fit sessions on live model/ form, upload photos, updating fit/ revised measurements/ constructions after fitting.
- Knowledge of molded cup shapes, form, wire quality/ shape for missy and plus bras a plus. Will train.
- Knowledge of Blue Cherry PLM a plus. Will train.
Qualifications
- 2- 3 years in Intimate Apparel, Swimwear, Bridal in Technical Design and Fitting processes.
- Understanding of intimates fitting, grading, garment constructions.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient PC skills including MS office ( Excel/Outlook), Blue Cherry PLM a plus.
