N H D M is seeking a highly organized and proactive studio manager to join the dynamic, award-winning practice at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and research. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative environment and enjoys supporting and engaging diverse aspects of cultural/spatial practices. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a small, collaborative team, supporting the studio's ongoing work while shaping and broadening the practice's reach.
ResponsibilitiesThe Studio Manager/Development Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the studio, providing essential administrative and operational support to the partners and design team.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day office operations, scheduling, and communications
- Providing administrative support to partners and design staff
- Overseeing office space and supplies
- Handling basic bookkeeping tasks
- Development activities, including researching and identifying aligned opportunities and crafting proposals
- Managing the studio's internal and public communications
- Familiarity or interest in architecture, design research, art, curatorial, and other cultural practices
- Enthusiastic about contributing to the studio
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with excellent research, organizational, and communication skills
- Responsible, resourceful, and capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and demonstrated skill level. This is primarily a part-time position that can be combined with other roles, if applicable. See for other available positions.
