Drafter – Detailer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project coordination and the complete development of 3D models.
• Approval and placement plans, and bills of material in accordance with project specifications and product requirements using Tekla.
• Reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
• Fulfilling commitments while maintaining a “World Class” level of quality.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with teammates and customers.
• Initiating, leading, and upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Aided Drafting, Architectural or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Prior steel joist and/or steel deck experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a construction or manufacturing industry preferred.

Demonstrates expertise in 3D modeling and project coordination, with a strong focus on quality and safety standards. Proficient in reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings while maintaining effective relationships with teammates and customers.
