CAD DESIGNER - Children's Apparel $90K+ DOE

Allura Imports Inc. is a leading developer and importer of children's apparel and sleepwear sold through major U.S. retailers. We create trend-right, high-volume programs across private label and licensed brands, partnering closely with retailers and overseas factories to bring products from concept to production.

We are seeking an experienced Children's Apparel CAD Designer to join our in-house design team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in apparel design and technical CAD development who understands children's apparel, garment construction, and production requirements.

Sleepwear experience is a plus, but candidates with children's apparel or relevant women's apparel experience will also be considered.

• Create accurate, production-ready CADs for children's sleepwear and related apparel categories
• Develop seasonal design concepts, colorways, prints, and graphics
• Prepare technical artwork and factory-ready files
• Create garment flats, color CADs, and presentation boards
• Collaborate with merchandising, sales, and production teams throughout the development process
• Revise designs based on customer feedback, costing requirements, and production needs
• Work with overseas factories to ensure artwork and CAD execution meets specifications
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• 3-5 years of apparel design experience
• Children's apparel experience strongly preferred
• Sleepwear experience a plus
• Women's apparel designers with relevant apparel CAD experience are encouraged to apply
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong apparel CAD skills required
• Understanding of garment construction, fit, and production processes
• Experience creating technical and production-ready artwork
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in an in-house collaborative environment

Salary: 90K+ DOE

• Salary: $85,000-$90,000, negotiable depending upon experience
