Location: New York
Responsibilities
- Submit detailed sketches along with tech packs including measurements and size grading.
- Collaborate with design team assisting with initial spec.
- Update Technical Packages to be sent to in house factories and overseas vendors including construction sketch, construction description, and garment proposed specs.
- Approve photo samples ensuring they align with design aesthetic
- Follow up fit samples for construction and measurement accuracy.
- Evaluate each garment spec measurements, yarns, stitches and construction detail.
- Review with vendors on grading and/or construction corrections that are required.
- Must be able to solve problems and identify fit problems
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in PLM, is a plus, Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Patterns, Grading and Garment construction
- 5 years technical design experience in including knowledge of kids, and or active wear
