JOHN PATRICK CUNNINGHAM / ARCHITECT is a Brooklyn, New York-based boutique architecture and interior design firm specializing in renovations of condos, co-ops, and townhouses in New York City.

We are looking for an architectural designer who is self-driven, detail-oriented, organized, and interested in participating in all phases of the architectural process, from design, through documentation, to construction oversight.

• 0-3 years of experience in an architecture office.
• An architectural degree.
• Excellent skills in Rhino, Revit, and the Adobe Suite, with a general digital fluency and ability to learn new software easily.
• Legal authorization to work in the US as well as fluency in written and spoken English.
• Interest and/or experience in handling client and contractor interactions.
• The ability to manage one's time efficiently, and to be self-directed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The capacity to multi-task.
• Commitment to the growth and development of our small office.
• New York City-Based.

JPC/A is a small (2-3 person) architectural and interior design firm that generally works on small residential projects, from bathroom remodels to full gut renovations, though we are starting to take on more ground-up projects. We have 20-30 projects in our office at any given time, so all team members are involved with multiple projects at once, rather than focusing on single projects for long periods of time.

As a result, team members have fluency in every aspect of the architectural process, from space planning, to 3-d development, to rendering, to documentation, to shop drawing review, to construction oversight.
