Neal Beckstedt Studio, a boutique architecture and interior design firm located in Manhattan, seeks a skilled junior architectural designer to lead the creation of renderings for all projects. As the studio is small, candidate will also assist on residential projects from start to finish. The role will also include spearheading design presentations including creating renderings in Sketch Up, 3
Dmax, and photoshop.
The position duties include:
- Creating unique Sketch Up & 3
Dmax renderings in a stylized manner unique to the office - Assisting designers and PM’s on formatting and preparing boards & presentation
- Assisting PM’s on project execution
The ideal applicant needs to possess the following skills:
- Past experience in a high-end residential office
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent Sketch Up, Vray, 3
Dmax, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint and other graphics program skills - Excellent autocad skills
- Excellent hand sketching abilities
- Great eye for details and color
