Our design team collaborates across every stage of the creative process—from concept development and design to final execution—bringing innovative collections to market with a strong focus on quality, creativity, and commercial success.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative and organized Associate Designer / Designer to join our growing design team. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, this role will participate in every stage of the design process—from initial concept and seasonal inspiration through product development and pre-production fittings.

The ideal candidate has a strong design aesthetic, exceptional organizational skills, and excels at balancing creativity with technical execution. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple deadlines, and enjoys collaborating across design, merchandising, technical design and production.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in New York City. Candidates must be able to work on-site and should currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the New York metropolitan area.

Responsibilities Seasonal Concept & Design Direction
  • Assist with seasonal research to support the overall creative vision and brand identity.
  • Research silhouettes, color, fabric, trim, and market trends to inspire seasonal collections.
Fabric & Trim Development
  • Source fabrics and trims with our overseas vendors within target price points.
  • Organize and update seasonal fabric & trim charts and maintain fabric & trim libraries.
  • Collaborate with Creative Director to develop seasonal color palette.
  • Responsible for the lab dip process from initial lab dips requests thru to bulk approvals.
  • Communicate directly with overseas factories on print development and approvals.
Design & CAD Development
  • Create Illustrator sketches and CADs for each delivery.
  • Revise sketches throughout development based on design reviews and fittings.
  • Prepare polished CAD presentations for sales meetings.
Technical Design
  • Create Design Tech Packs
  • Partner closely with the Technical Design throughout garment development.
  • Update Tech Packs as needed following fittings and design revisions.
  • Attend all fit sessions and update sketches, CADs, and Tech Packs as needed.

    Communicate revisions to cross functional partners.
Server Management
  • Maintain an organized design server with:
    Line Sheets, CADs, Sketches, CAD Books, Color Cards, Fabric Charts, Tech Packs.
  • Ensure all files are accurate, organized, and easily accessible to the team.
Cross-Functional Communication
  • Partner closely with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design, Product Development, and overseas vendors.
  • Communicate daily with oversees vendors regarding development and design updates.
Qualifications
  • 3–6 years of apparel design experience (Associate Designer or Designer level)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrication, and product development
  • Excellent taste level with a strong eye for color, proportion, silhouette, and detail
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a creative team
Technical Skills
  • Advanced Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
