Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 + annual bonus + comprehensive benefits
A nationally recognized design practice is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer to join its award-winning team in New York City. This is an opportunity to contribute to luxury hospitality, restaurant, and cultural projects while collaborating with a creative, multidisciplinary team from concept through design development.
This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about thoughtful design, enjoys working in a collaborative studio environment, and can bring ambitious ideas to life through strong technical execution.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and development of luxury hospitality, restaurant, and cultural interior projects from concept through design development.
- Prepare presentation drawings, design studies, and architectural documentation.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and 3D models that clearly communicate design intent.
- Collaborate closely with senior designers, architects, consultants, and project teams throughout the design process.
- Participate in material research, space planning, and design coordination.
- Assist in producing high-quality drawing packages while maintaining exceptional design standards.
- Coordinate with consultants to support seamless project execution and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Four to eight years of professional architectural experience.
- Experience with hospitality, restaurant, cultural, or high-end commercial interior projects.
- Strong design sensibility and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into buildable architectural solutions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, Enscape, V‑Ray, Lumion, or similar visualization software is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative, design-focused studio.
