A Brooklyn-based interior design firm is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter / 3D Renderer & Project Manager to join its growing team. This hybrid creative and technical role is ideal for someone with a strong background in interior design, architecture, or a related field who can translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and high-quality 3D visualizations while helping manage projects from concept through completion.
The ideal candidate combines strong drafting and rendering skills with excellent organization, communication, and project management abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Create detailed architectural and interior design drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and other technical documentation.
- Develop accurate 3D models based on design concepts, plans, and specifications.
- Produce high-quality, photorealistic renderings for client presentations and project development.
- Translate conceptual designs and sketches into accurate, production-ready drawings.
- Update drawings and renderings based on client, designer, contractor, and project feedback.
- Assist with project management from the design and planning stages through installation and completion.
- Track project schedules, deadlines, revisions, approvals, and outstanding action items.
- Coordinate project details with designers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other professionals.
- Help ensure design specifications are accurately communicated and executed.
- Maintain organized project files, drawings, renderings, specifications, and documentation.
- Assist in identifying and resolving design or project issues throughout the process.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- 2+ years of experience in interior design, architecture, drafting, 3D visualization, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with Rhino is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

- Solid understanding of architectural drawings, interior layouts, dimensions, and design documentation.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Portfolio of relevant drafting, rendering, and design work is required.
