Visual Designer, Deep Mind (Fixed-Term Contract)

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in visual design, brand design, art direction, or a related field, within a creative agency or an in-house brand team.

• Experience leading complex design projects from concept to completion with high autonomy.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard design tools, including Figma and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• A stellar portfolio demonstrating a strong foundation in typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling, with proven experience building extensive brand systems and marketing campaigns.

• Develop, pitch, and execute high-impact visual design concepts for global AI marketing campaigns, product launches (e.g., advanced AI models), and scientific research announcements.
• Transform highly technical scientific papers, AI research, and algorithmic concepts into clear, beautiful, and engaging visual assets, infographics, and interactive digital experiences.
• Act as a steward for the Deep Mind brand by defining, evolving, and scaling the visual identity system across digital, physical, video, and experiential touchpoints while ensuring alignment with the broader Google brand ecosystem.
• Partner closely with Marketing, Communications, Product, and Research teams to understand project objectives and deliver creative solutions that meet strategic goals.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from initial ideation and wire framing to final production, ensuring the highest level of craft and pixel-perfect execution.
