Designer - Men's Apparel

Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Designer to join their men's team in NYC!

Responsibilities

• Design and develop men’s apparel across seasonal collections, ensuring products are trend-right, commercial, and aligned with the brand’s aesthetic.
• Research market trends, fabrics, silhouettes, colors, and competitive product to inform seasonal design direction.
• Create and present sketches, CADs, colorways, and design concepts from initial concept through final product.
• Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, and Production teams to ensure successful product execution.
• Review samples and provide design feedback throughout the development process, ensuring quality, fit, and overall design intent are maintained.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing men’s apparel with a solid understanding of current fashion trends and the men’s consumer.
• Experience developing products across multiple men’s categories; experience in streetwear, active wear, or casual apparel is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and experience creating apparel CADs.
• Graphic design experience is preferred, particularly with prints, graphics, and artwork for apparel.
• Creative, trend-focused, and highly collaborative with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
