Senior Designer - Home Fashion | Kitchen & Tabletop

We are seeking a Senior Designer with a sophisticated design sensibility and deep experience in home fashion, with a particular focus on kitchen textiles and tabletop. This role is ideal for a highly creative designer who combines a refined taste level with strong commercial instincts and can help shape a distinctive, elevated home collection.

• Lead the design and development of seasonal kitchen and tabletop textile collections, including tablecloths, kitchen towels, table runners, placemats, napkins, aprons, and coordinating accessories.
• Establish compelling seasonal print, pattern, color, and design direction that feels elevated, fresh, and relevant to the home market.
• Create cohesive collections that balance sophisticated design, trend relevance, functionality, and commercial appeal.
• Demonstrate a refined eye for print and pattern, including scale, repeat, layout, color relationships, and coordination across product categories.
• Develop original prints, graphics, patterns, and surface-design concepts while providing clear direction for purchased or externally developed artwork.
• Build coordinated product stories across kitchen and tabletop, thoughtfully mixing prints, textures, solids, embroideries, and other decorative techniques.
• Research and interpret trends in home décor, interiors, color, print, lifestyle, and fashion, translating them into relevant seasonal concepts rather than simply following trends.
• Create seasonal concept boards, color palettes, print stories, product assortments, and presentations that clearly communicate the vision for the collection.
• Partner closely with merchandising, product development, sourcing, and sales teams to ensure the collection is both design-driven and commercially viable.
• Review samples, strike-offs, lab dips, materials, and finishes, providing detailed feedback throughout the development process.
• Maintain a strong understanding of competitive brands, retailers, emerging trends, and the evolving home consumer.

• 5-8+ years of design experience in home textiles/home fashion, with significant experience in kitchen and tabletop products strongly preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating an elevated home aesthetic, sophisticated use of color, and exceptional print and pattern direction.
• Deep understanding of designing collections across tablecloths, kitchen towels, runners, placemats, napkins, aprons, and related home textile categories.
• Excellent sense of color, scale, proportion, pattern, texture, and product coordination.
• Ability to move comfortably between creative concept development and commercial product execution.
• Strong knowledge of print and textile techniques, fabrications, embellishments, and manufacturing considerations.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with textile/CAD design tools is a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate and defend a creative point of view.
• Organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple seasonal programs and deadlines.
