We are seeking an experienced, on-site experienced Draftsman to join our growing team based in our Mineola, New York (Nassau County) shop & office.

• Develop and present accurate and complete shop drawings and specifications based on architectural plans
• Quickly identify inconsistencies/problems in plans (i.e., field conditions differ from architectural drawings), and effectively confer with architects to formulate solutions
• Work closely with Project Management, and Shop teams to ensure job runs smoothly.
• Assist project manager to resolve client grievances or concerns

• Minimum five-years’ experience in high-end residential millwork required
• Excellent conceptual, managerial, and oral/written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, and highly organized
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Desire to further personal experience/development in the field
• Proficient in AutoCAD (minimum five-year experience)
• Thorough understanding of wood products and hardware
• Understanding and providing material take-offs
• Proficiency in math
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
